Ashcroft offers three types of thermometers:
bimetallic thermometers,
with Duratemp gas drive
digital thermometers.
Bimetallic thermometers measure temperatures ranging from -80 °F to 1000 °F. Duratemp measures temperatures from -320 ° F to 1200 ° F.
Digital thermometers for panel mounting are resistant to shock and vibration and are supplied in waterproof ultrasonic sealed cases.

Thermometers EE, EL belong to the indicating arrow devices of the submersible type.
Thermometers of ITS series differ from the EL series in the way of connecting the thermoball with the thermometer body, as well as the possible ranges of measured temperatures. The thermometers of the HER series have a rear and radial connection, and the thermometers of the EL series have a hinge connection that ensures rotation of the thermometer body by 360° and its tilt by 180 °. To achieve minimum vibration of the arrow and maximum heat transfer, the bimetallic element of the EL series thermometers is filled with silicone liquid.

Bimetallic thermometers of the EI series are designed for measuring the temperature of liquid, bulk and gaseous media that are not aggressive to the thermoball material of thermometers.

Bimetall thermometers Bimetall A and Bimetall E models
The Bimetall A and Bimetall E models differ in the diameter of the scale, further divided into modifications M, E, I, 3B, RT depending on the diameter and type of rod.
Thermometers consist of a round body, which houses a scale and a kinematic mechanism with a pointer, and a bimetallic thermosensitive element in a protective tube. Depending on the orientation of the connection of the housing and the rod, the thermometers have versions: radial, axial and rotary (hinged). The body and the rod are made of stainless steel.
